The UPSEE results are the basis for getting admission into the colleges and institutes across Uttar Pradesh. At present 238 colleges are affiliated to it and they give admissions on the basis of UPSEE result.
Declaration:
The UPSEE results are declared by the end of May. The good part about the results is that they are declared along with the answer keys which can be viewed on the website of the
Ranking:
The UPTU prepares the merit list of the candidates in different courses based on their performance and provide rank along similar lines.
Score Card:
The score card mentions the marks obtained by the candidate along with the total marks. The score card of the candidates is sent via post. They are also available on the websites after the declaration of the result.
Merit List:
The merit list mentions the relative performance of the candidates. It is prepared for each course separately. For example the B.Tech and B.Arch courses have separate merit lists.
In case the candidates have equal marks the one who has given lesser number of incorrect answers will be placed on higher merit. Secondly, the age of the candidate is figured in. The one whose age is more is placed above.
