SELECTION PROCEDURE:
1) Written test

Written Test:
Duration: 1 hour (no negative marking)
Sections: Aptitude and Core branch (60 % is the minimum cut off to qualify.)
Group Discussion:
In Group Discussion current topics are discussed. In 2011 the topic of GD was “Is wikileaks good or bad”
Interview:
Technical + Informal (In 2011 questions were asked from the projects that students had done during the course and earthquake resistant buildings.)
Training Period: 1 year
Bond: No bond restriction.
Post designated to trainees: Management Technical Trainee

5 lakh per annum for IIT students. (Exclusive of fooding and lodging)
3.87 lakh for other students.
Work Environment:
Trainees spend five hours in class rooms and another one to two hours on the site plants.
