JB Institute of Technology came into existence in 2009. Located in Dehradun (Uttarakhand), it works under the management of Jai Bhagwan Educational Society. The institute imparts undergraduate level programme in the field of technology – Bachelor of Technology (B Tech), a four-year full time programme. Apart from engineering courses, the institute also imparts UG level programmes in the discipline of management (BBA) and computer applications (BCA).The disciplines offered under its B . Tech programme are Civil Engineering , Computer Science & Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering , Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering .

J B Institute of Technology is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. JB Institute of Technology is recognized by the Government of Uttarakhand.

J B Institute of Technology is located at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.The nearest railway station and the nearest airport are at a distance of 25 Kms and 50 Kms respectively from the college campus .
INFRASTRUCTURE
There are 11 class rooms and 4 tutorial rooms along with lab , library , indoor / outdoor sports facilities ,gymnasium facilities , cafeteria , seminar halls . Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided by the college .

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Eligibility for B . Tech is one should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board. Admissions are made on the basis of rank obtained by the candidate in AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam). 15% seats are reserved as management quota.
